Nature Field Trip Report In North Toraja

Assalamualaikum warohmatullah wabarakatu...

Hello!!
I’m back, before I tell about my activity in Toraja. I want to introduce myself again My name is suma thesa but all my friends call me Thesa. I am a student of makassar tourism polythechnic, majoring in tour & travel bussines study program

Now, I will tell you about my activities on October 14-16, 2019 (3N2D). I hope you enjoy read my blog J

On the first day all participants gathered in front of the orange building in the Makassar tourism polytechnic preparing to head to North Toraja. We passed maros - pangkep - barru, arrived at barru we stopped at kupa beach restaurant for lunch. after lunch we continue the journey. we pass pare - pare - sidrap - enrekang. and we stop in Enrekang to enjoy a coffee break. After enjoying the coffee break we continue the journey to Toraja. Arriving in Toraja at a hotel called indra toraja hotel.


On the second day we get ready for tracking. after getting ready we headed to timenbayo, the journey to timenbayo we enjoy a very beautiful view. nd we arrived in timenbayo we started soft tracking to mentirotiku restaurant.



After lunch we continue our soft tracking from Lempo to Bori. And we had spectacular soft tracking because we see daily life Toraja people like mutual work, tedong bonga, toraja weaving, try palm wine, and see how to make toraja carving. We also passed rice field and enjoy the view. We see baby grave too.
after the activity is finished we return to the hotel to get ready to dinner and take a rest.



On the third day we are prepare to checkout from the hotel and return to Makassar.
We returned the same route we went.


 We stopped at pare pare in teras empang restaurant for lunch.


After lunch we continue our trip to Makassar city,  After arriving in Makassar we returned to our respective homes.

Report Marine Field Trip In Dutungan Island And Paputo Beach



Hello guys!
My name is suma thesa but all my friends call me Thesa. I am a student of makassar tourism polythechnic, majoring in tour & travel bussines. Wellon 2 days me and all my friends going to Dutungan Island and Paputo beach.

On a first day, October 10, 2019 we are gethring in front of orange building at campus for chack the presence and distribution of id card, language tag and audio system. After that we are get in the bus to go to dutungan island.Than we left the poltekpar campus at 07.00 during the trip to dutungan island, each student was assigned as a tour guide to porivede information about what areas were passed during the trip.



After 2 hours later, we arrived in tanjung indah dock, but we have to use bout to crossed the dutungan island. This is a small island with fine white sandy beach, after we arrive in dutungan island, we changed our chlothes for prepare diving. And then we listend to some instuctions or procedure for doing diving exercises properly by expert instructors. After that all off the student trying to diving with accompany by instructor.




Actually that was the first time i tried diving. Really a pleasant experience. After diving, i continued to snorkling. Woow.. its amazing, i can see a many of fish in the underwater its so amazin. After we spend a time in there we are going bac to the dock and go to delima Sali hotel in pare - pare city. We are arrive at 06.00 pm and all the participants to go the room to prepare for dinner. We had dinner in ayam penyet Ria Restaurant, the location wa very close to the hotel so we just walked.
Then after dinner, we continued for presentation session of a assigments given previosly by the tour leader in the hotel restaurant. Than followed by an entertainment where each group display their respective talents. After the whole program was ove, all participants going back to the rooms and take a rest.

The second day on october 11,2019 we doing a morning exercise and walking around the area hotel and visit statute of cinta sejati Habibie & Ainun. 
Then after that, we return to the hotel for breakfast. After we had breakfast, we returned to our room to pack and then go to in Papoto Beach.





In Paputo Beach, we did observations and have fun. We anjoyed the beautiful view and we enjoyed the the beutiful view in Paputo Beach wile snacking on fried bananas. After a few hours, we going back to the bus and go to teras empang restaurant for lunch. In teras empang also has a beautiful view and we enjoyed the delicious of food in there.






After that we returned to the bus and we going back to the city of makassar. During the trip we get a free programme. We arrived in poltekpar makassar at 05.00 PM. Then we take our personal belonging and we are going back to our homes. The field trip is end and see you and next tour. This is the best experience i’ve ever bad.
